Today, as we in Northeast Florida rests easy, having escaped the furies of Hurricane Idalia, and at the same time, residents of Florida’s Big Bend reel at the staggering losses brought on by this major hurricane, where is God in the equation? If the God who has complete control over the winds and the waves could have stopped the storm in its tracks (and indeed He could have), why didn’t He?
